• 1 in 4 children will sustain injuries serious enough to require medical treatment or cause permanent disability.

• 347 Billion dollars are spent annually of Taxpayers money for childhood injuries.

• 60 – 70% of children can be saved by correct installation and use of Car Seat

• Approximately 90% of car seats are installed incorrectly – Local Car Seat checks find closer to 100% misuse rate.

• Poisonings are the 2^nd leading cause of accidental ingestion and death in the 1-2 year old age group.

• Drowning is the 2^nd leading cause of accidental death in the 2-3 year old age group.

Angels on Call Safety Patrol will provide Safety education and evaluation services in the home for your family.

• Education in Infant and Child CPR and management of the choking victim.
• Home Safety Evaluations
• Basic First Aid
• Car Seat Safety Education and assistance with Installation
• Poison Safety Education

About the Safety Patrol:

Nancy J. Carlson, BSN, RN
American Heart Association Training Center Facility in CPR and Basic First Aid
Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician
Poison Center Instructor
Nursing experience in Pediatric Nursing
Approximately 20 years as a Safety Educator

Misty Croft, BSN, RN
American Heart Association CPR Instructor
Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician
Nursing experience, Pediatric outpatient minor emergency clinic
Approximately 5 years as a Safety Educator

Fee Schedule:

            $450.00 for up to 6 hours

            This will provide:

• Up to 4 people CPR training with the Family and Friends program.  $30.00 for each additional person

• A complete walk through and education of the Safety needs in your home.

• Up to 2 car seat evaluations

• 1 hour of Basic First Aid Training for 4 people.  ($15.00 for each additional person.)
